Terms & conditions.

1. Parties

These terms apply between VaporDex Home Services Sdn. Bhd. (registration 202301045783), referred to as "VaporDex", and the customer who books, accepts a quote from, or receives services from us.

2. Quotes & acceptance

Quotes are valid for 30 days from the date of issue. Work is only scheduled once you have explicitly accepted the quote in writing (WhatsApp, email or signed copy). Verbal go-aheads are not sufficient for jobs over RM800.

3. Scope

The line items in your written quote constitute the agreed scope of work. If the job changes mid-execution (for example, an additional pipe section needs replacing once a wall is opened), we stop and seek your written authorisation for the variation before continuing.

4. Pricing

All prices are in Malaysian Ringgit and inclusive of any applicable service tax. Out-of-hours and weekend rates are stated on the relevant service pages. Parking and toll charges, where applicable, are billed at cost with receipts attached.

5. Payment

Payment is due within 7 calendar days of invoice for repairs. Renovation jobs follow a three-milestone schedule disclosed in the contract:

• 30% on contract sign and material lock-in
• 50% at completion of tiling and waterproofing
• 20% on hand-over after the leak test

Payment is by bank transfer (Maybank, CIMB) or DuitNow QR. We do not accept cash for amounts over RM1,500.

6. Access & safety

You confirm that the property is in a condition that allows safe access. If our technicians arrive and the site is unsafe (e.g. live electrics exposed to standing water) we will withdraw and reschedule. A wasted-visit fee may apply if the unsafe condition was reasonably foreseeable.

7. Guarantee

Workmanship is guaranteed for 12 months from completion. Waterproofing on renovation work is guaranteed for 24 months. Manufacturer warranties on supplied parts run in parallel and remain with the manufacturer.

The guarantee does not cover damage caused by misuse, third-party modification, or normal wear of consumable parts (washers, cartridges, anodes).

8. Liability

VaporDex's total liability for any single job is capped at the amount paid by you for that job. We carry public-liability insurance of RM1 million per incident; copies of the certificate are available on request.

9. Cancellation & rescheduling

You can reschedule a confirmed visit at no charge if you tell us at least 12 hours in advance. Same-day cancellations of scoping visits attract a RM65 wasted-visit fee. Renovation contracts have a separate cancellation schedule disclosed at signing.

10. Confidentiality

We do not publish photographs of identifiable properties, layouts or addresses without your written consent. Internal training references are anonymised.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any dispute that cannot be resolved through good-faith discussion is to be referred to mediation by the Asian International Arbitration Centre in Kuala Lumpur before any court proceeding.
